Marty Clemons Scott is a NYC-based jazz musician and trombonist originally from Freeport, NY. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from SUNY Purchase and is pursuing a Master's degree in Music Education from Teachers College at Columbia University, alongside a Master's in Music from the School of Music. Marty performs a variety of jazz styles, including Bebop hard bop, and Latin jazz, drawing inspiration from legends like Curtis Fuller, Steve Davis, and J.J. Johnson. He collaborates with various artists both in and outside of NYC, writing, recording, and performing original compositions and arrangements. His performances have graced renowned venues such as Birdland Jazz Club, Dizzy’s Jazz Club, and The Django, among others.
